Emanuel Residence

The design of this single-story home centers around a young family of five who prioritize indoor-outdoor living and a home their family can grow into over time. In developing the layout the idea of introducing a central courtyard became a key driver for the project. A series of gabled pavilions wrap around this central outdoor gathering space, each satisfying a different programmatic objective. The layout seamlessly integrates open-plan living areas with expansive glass walls and sliding doors, creating a fluid connection between the interior spaces and the outdoor environment while allowing an abundance of natural light throughout the home. The thoughtful floor plan provides flexible spaces that allow the family to grow comfortably over time, ensuring functionality and comfort for years to come. The roof plane was strategically designed and features an oversized living planted garden that can be seen from the interior of the home. The home’s materiality aspires to be clean, natural feeling, and layered with texture. The design has an inward looking feel, with an abundance of natural landscaped gardens, invoking an overall sense of calm and peace. The project is currently in the design phase, construction is anticipated to begin in early 2026.
